About Violeta

Violeta is an Integrative Shakti Reiki Master with a diverse background in Yin Yoga, Meditation, Shamanic Healing, and Trauma-Informed Dance. Since 2009, she has been dedicated to serving the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles communities as a Wellness Educator. After earning a Liberal Arts degree from CSUN in 2011, she volunteered in Nepal, teaching Yoga and Meditation to children in a rural village. Violeta received a 200-hr Yoga Certification from the Center of Yoga in Larchmont Village. She is the founder of Emerging Girls, a self-care movement for teenage girls. One of her professional accomplishments was developing a trauma-informed dance curriculum with the founding director of Critical Mass Dance Company. She contributes actively to community well-being by collaborating with various non-profit organizations like Peace Over Violence, Safe Place for Youth, A Place Called Home, New Village Girls Academy, and Las Fotos Project. In 2021, she volunteered with Frontline Therapists, teaching self-healing practices to wounded soldiers and therapists in Armenia. Since establishing her Reiki practice in 2016, she continues facilitating private sessions and teaching Reiki Level I and II Trainings virtually and in Pasadena. Violeta is currently pursuing an MA in Counseling Psychology, Depth Psychology, Clinical Counseling, and Marriage & Family Therapy. As the first-generation biracial daughter of immigrants, she brings a unique approach to healing that honors the diversity, resilience, and inherent beauty of each individual.
